Congratulations to Anna Wingard, of Wingard Towing Service, LLC, in West Columbia, South Carolina, who was highlighted as a “Woman of Towing” in the February 2021 issue of Tow Times magazine. In addition to working as the company’s business operations manager, Wingard recently took on an industry association role, as President of the Towing and Recovery Association of South Carolina (TRASC).
Wingard originally studied for a career in health care, earning graduate degrees in gerontology and speech pathology, but she also ended up joining the family business under the tutelage of her late mother-in-law. Anna’s husband Greg represents the third generation in the towing business. The company has nine tow trucks, ranging from light-duty to medium-duty.
Wingard Towing uses eImpound to help locate lien holders. Anna Wingard says,
“We love using eImpound! We really think it has given lien holders a better chance at collecting vehicles sooner.”
